Gadget Flow Review: Understanding Buyer Psychology in Collaboration With TCF

At TCF, supporting innovators and creators with multifaceted marketing strategies is our prime focus. We help brands reach and exceed crowdfunding and e-commerce targets on platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Recently, we collaborated with Gadget Flow on several crowdfunding campaigns and e-commerce projects to enhance our client services. Keep reading for our Gadget Flow review and what we learned about the platform from the collaboration.

While we at TCF offer our customers a comprehensive range of marketing packages, we’ve gained a deeper understanding of user behavior during recent collaborations with Gadget Flow, a product discovery platform with over 29K products and 200+ specially curated categories.

Specifically, we’ll examine Gadget Flow’s marketing strategies, diverse product range, and understanding of user behavior. Overall, we’ll give you a clear idea of what working with Gadget Flow feels like!

What is Gadget Flow?

Gadget Flow is a product discovery platform with a large database of products from established and emerging brands. The products are featured on the Gadget Flow website using detailed yet easy-to-understand language and high-quality product images.

The product base attracts buyers and readers. Meanwhile, the company promotes its customers’ products on the platform and through targeted social media campaigns. Gadget Flow’s marketing strategies rely on introducing products to appropriate markets, helping business owners find interested buyers, and providing SEO-enriched content for a lifetime.

Diverse product and category range

One of the most obvious reasons to work with Gadget Flow is the company’s comprehensive product database and categories. Featuring everything from gaming gadgets to the latest EDC accessories, it’s a great place to promote nearly any product.

Since we at TCF also promote a wide range of gear, the Gadget Flow website easily fits our needs. Whether campaigning for a water bottle filter or a bento box-inspired stationery set, our client’s products found a perfect place on the Gadget Flow website.

A great place to examine user behavior

When working with Gadget Flow, partners can see stats like clicks, traffic locations, etc., from readers interacting on the site. Having this information is helpful, of course, because it shows us how popular a product is, where it’s popular, and what sort of people are interested in it.

We’re happy to say that this led to noticeable results with our product launch campaigns.

Various opportunities for product promotion

Promoting a product on Gadget Flow isn’t just about having an entry in its product database. Clients can also purchase blog post reviews, email/social media marketing, and unboxing videos. The content is shared on Gadget Flow’s active social media outlets, email subscriber list, and website.

Not only this, Gadget Flow promotions also expanded to various other third-party industry-leading social media collaborations as well as their own expanding social networks. These include their presence on two active Instagram accounts, Pinterest accounts, Twitter networks, Facebook page presence, and more.

No e-commerce presence

While our collaboration with Gadget Flow yielded positive results, the brand’s one ‘con’ is its lack of an e-commerce presence. Visitors to the site cannot purchase directly from the platform and are instead directed to the seller’s website for purchase.

From a user’s standpoint, it feels like a missed opportunity. Why not allow people to purchase directly from the site instead of sending them away?

How did we start working with Gadget Flow?

As a large marketing agency, we at TCF were familiar with Gadget Flow and its market placement. For years, we’ve witnessed its readership and positioning as a platform for gadgets.

Campaign collaborations with Gadget Flow

When selecting campaigns to collaborate on, we went for unique products that would help us gain deeper insights into user mentality.

Because Gadget Flow promotes such a diverse range of products, TCF’s campaigns were a great fit for a partnership. Some of our most successful collaborative projects were:

YASHICA Vision is a night photography gadget that gives users 4K UHD images and full-color night vision. It offers a natural view of the environment, even in challenging conditions.

Meanwhile, its view extends to 600 meters, enhancing nighttime nature explorations. In total, we helped the campaign raise $25,311.29 and had an ROI of 12.6.

SpacePeak Aerogel is another innovative campaign. It keeps wearers warm using the same technology as space suits: Aerogel insulation.

With it, wearers can stay warm in temperatures as low as -40°C. Plus, the 3-in-1 jacket design lets users adapt the jacket to fit their needs. Altogether, our collaboration brought $21,419.57 to the campaign with an ROI of 4.75.

Vitaloop delivers filtered water from nearly any source with the push of a button.

It relies on a 5-in-1 filtration system that removes bacteria, parasites, viruses, heavy metals, chlorine, microplastics, and many other contaminants. Outfitted with a rechargeable battery, it can filter up to 13 gallons on a single charge. Working with Gadget Flow, we brought $12,934 to the campaign, with an ROI of 6.47.

But these weren’t the only campaigns where TCF and Gadget Flow worked together. Over the year, we also teamed up to promote Bentojot, Duovox, Carabiner, Coffee Grindr, Myhixel, T-shirt TV, and Memekeeper.

Our thoughts on working with Gadget Flow

Working with Gadget Flow on the above campaigns helped us generate more sales. This, of course, increased client satisfaction and improved campaign success. We were thrilled to see such impressive results in a relatively short amount of time.

Additionally, working with Gadget Flow increased our knowledge about user behavior from a standard buyer perspective. Gadget Flow has the viewing stats of campaigns promoted via its outlets, so we learned from this information.

Also, the ad campaigns that Gadget Flow conducted were informative and successful at drawing attention from its targeted user bases. We also like the platform’s unique content presentation.

Overall, Gadget Flow’s homepage, social media, and newsletter placements allowed us to explore various modes of presentation for our clients. We hope to continue this partnership and work on more innovative projects in the future.
